Brenda Kaye Kirkman

Brenda Kaye Kirkman was born February 17, 1954 in Perry, Florida the daughter of Kathleen and the late Joel Mann Simmons.She was united in marriage to Jack D. Kirkman on June 3, 1974. Mr. Kirkman preceded her in death in 2000. Mrs. Kirkman was a loving homemaker for her husband and children. She had a wonderful relationship with her late paternal grandmother, Berthel Simmons, who taught her how to cook and do everything necessary to truly make her house a home. Mrs. Kirkman departed this life on June 29, 2010 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 56 Years, 4 Months, 12 Days. She is survived by three daughters: Sherry Kirkman of St. Louis, MO, Terry Kirkman of Florida, and Candice Kirkman of Dexter, MO; three sons: Jerry Kirkman of Poplar Bluff, MO, Ivan Kirkman of Kansas City, MO, and John Kirkman of Dexter, MO; 11 grandchildren; her mother, Kathleen Simmons of Finger, TN; a sister, Sandra Lee Simmons of Finger, TN; and a host of extended family and friends. In addition to her husband, father, and grandparents, Mrs. Kirkman was preceded in death by three brothers: Joel M. Simmons Jr., Phillip W. Simmons, and Paul D. Simmons.
