Brenda Lee Haddock, born on April 9, 1960, departed from this world on March 5, 2025. A cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Brenda’s life was marked by her warmth and kindness, traits that endeared her to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
The daughter of Carolyn Sue Haddock and JV Haddock, Brenda was known for her deep love of animals, as her fur babies were largely her companions for many years. She had a green thumb that allowed her to cultivate beautiful plants that brightened her surroundings. She enjoyed painting and crafting, and was known to transform something old and give it a bright new look. In her younger years, she enjoyed winter fun in Michigan. The more snow that fell the better it would be to ride her snowmobile and take pleasure in cold winter weather. In the summer months she was delighted to be able to live on a lake and entertain friends and family with delicious cookouts, swimming, and lots of lake fun. Brenda worked many years in the restaurant business. Her friendly, happy personality, and skills made her a successful manager at a very popular and busy restaurant. In her later years, she lived in Florida appreciating the warmer weather. Having a small apartment close to the beach allowed her to make trips to the beach to enjoy the sunshine and the ocean. Again, her friendly and happy social skills were a great fit as she worked at a local store greeting and helping customers daily. This was a job she very much enjoyed. Recently Brenda moved back to Tennessee to be with family and friends. She enjoyed shopping and visiting as a bonus to retirement.
Brenda is survived by her two brothers, Mitchell Anthony "Tony" Haddock and Steven J Haddock (Jodie). She is survived by her sister, Betty Sue McDaniel (Leonard). Her love continues through her numerous nieces and nephews: Jamie (Shawn) Caperton, Jeremiah (Fritz) Haddock, Jodie Cox, Harlee Haddock, Alexis (Jennifer) Gonzalez, Alyssa (Griffin) Jones, Amanda (Zack) Stults, Steven (Jamie) Rich, and Cailee McDaniel.
Brenda is preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Sue Haddock; her father, JV Haddock; her brother, Ricky Jessie Wade Haddock; and her nephew, Noah Steven Taylor Haddock. Each of them held a special place in Brenda's heart, and their memories will forever resonate within her family.
Brenda Lee Haddock leaves behind a legacy of love and connection to the beauty of her various surroundings during her lifetime. Her love for her family, friends, and her fun personality will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all whose hearts she touched.
