Brenda Kay Gowdy Doles was born on Sunday, January 27, 1952, in Shelby County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Glenn Eugene Gowdy, Sr. and Margaret Gowdy of Stantonville, Tennessee.Mrs. Doles attended Bethel Springs Church of God of Prophecy and was a homemaker.She passed from this life on Friday, March 16, 2007, in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 55 years, 1 month, and 17 days.Survivors are her husband Bobby Lynn Doles, Sr. of Selmer; daughter Tonie Lynn Boggs and husband Howard of Bethel Springs; son Bobby Lynn Doles, Jr. of Selmer; mother Margaret Gowdy of Stantonville; brother Benny Gowdy and wife Cherry of Henderson, Tennessee; sisters Lois Jean Gowdy of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Peggy Sue Jones of Stantonville; 3 grandchildren: Jessie, Joseph, and Jordon Boggs; and a host of other relatives and friends.
