Brandon Christopher Taylor, 17, of Medon, died early Tuesday morning, June 26, 2007 at Bolivar General Hospital.
Born September 10, 1989, in Jackson, the son of Brenda Carol Taylor Slaughter of Medon and the late Nathan Lee Slaughter and lived here all of his life. He graduated from Bolivar Central High School with the Class of 2007 and planned to attend TTC in Whiteville. He loved to hunt, fish and work on trucks and was a member of New Union Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he leaves two sisters, Celeste Slaughter of Medon and Crystal Charbaneo of Lewisburg; one brother, Nick Slaughter of Jackson; his maternal grandparents, Jack and Ann Taylor of Medon; paternal grandmother, Ruby Slaughter of Medon; aunts and uncles, Richard and Debbie King, Evelyn Riley, Jean and Edward Kiestler and Joyce Forshea, all of Medon; cousins, Jessica, Nathan, Abbie and Katie Phillips and Daniel King.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Billy Slaughter.
