Boyd Wiggins

Mr. Boyd Wiggins, age 92 of Toone, Tennessee, passed away Monday morning, June 27, 2016 at Pine Meadows Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

The widow of Catherine Rose Wiggins, who died on September 1, 2012, he was retired from the Armira Corporation. He was born June 13, 1924, in Hardeman County, son of the late Buford A. and Lucille Smith Wiggins and lived all of his life here. He served in the US Army from 1943-45 and was a member of Toone Baptist Church. He loved to go to all of his Army reunions and greatly enjoyed camping and gardening.

Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Sipes (David) of Bolivar and Donna Mayer (Todd) of Toone; 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jewell Wiggins and a daughter, Sandra Kay Holloman. The family requests memorial donations in Mr. Wiggins name be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org/donate).
