Bonnie Pickens

BONNIE PICKENSwas born in Clifton, Tennessee on September 15, 1915 the daughter of the late James Alford and Annie Amanda Mathis Creasy.She was united in marriage to James Carroll, who preceded his wife in death. On April 18, 1959 she was united in marriage to J. D. Pickens, who preceded her in death on February 22, 1996.Mrs. Pickens was a retired factory worker. She was a member of Adamsville First Baptist Church.Mrs. Pickens departed this life on March 25, 2007 at the Hardin County Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 91 years, 6 months and 10 days.She is survived by one step-son, Dwayne Pickens of Adamsville, Tennessee.3 step-daughters, Joyce Surratt and Bonnie Surratt, both of Adamsville, Tennessee and Judy McClanahan of Bethel, Ohio.7 grandchildrenMrs. Pickens was also preceded in death by one son, Joe Wayne Carroll, one sister, Ocie Creasy Powell and 3 brothers, Leland, Alton and Audrey Creasy.
