Bonnie Lee Hendrix

October 17, 1918 — February 21, 2007

Bonnie Lee Lawson Hendrix was born October 17, 1918 in Ramer, Tennessee the daughter of the late Andrew Benton and Hattie Lee Burress Lawson.



On March 13, 1937, she was united in marriage to Moman Lee Hendrix who preceded her in death on October 12, 1987.



Mrs. Hendrix was a member of the Mount Vernon Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Ramer, Tennessee. She was a retired beautician. She owned the Glamourite Beauty Shop and later worked from a shop at her home in Selmer. Mrs. Hendrix was also a member of the Selmer FCE club. Many times she expressed her enjoyment of participating in the activities of the club with her dear friends and fellow members, wishing them continued fellowship.



She departed this life on February 21, 2007 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 88 years, 4 months and 4 days. Mrs. Hendrix is survived by three daughters, Pam Hendrix Levron of Greenwood, SC; Teresa (Tracy) Plante and husband Jim and Wanda Chapman and husband Tony all of Selmer, TN; three sons, Lee Hendrix and wife Mary of Memphis, TN; Robert Hendrix and wife June of Gurley, AL; Bobby Hendrix and wife Susan of Stantonville, TN; a sister, Mabel Lawson Cramer of Selmer, TN; brother, Andrew Lawson and wife Norma of Ramer, TN; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.



In addition to her spouse and her parents, Mrs. Hendrix was preceded in death a sister, Carolyn Brooks; two brothers, Walton and Buford Lawson and a grandson, Matthew Plante.
