Bonnie Gail Goodman departed this life on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at the age of 65 years, 10 months, 23 days. She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on March 25, 1950, the daughter of Betty L. Davis Saxton and the late George Davis. On August 4, 1983, she was united in marriage to Jimmy W. Goodman, who survives.
Bonnie had been a seamstress for Brown Shoe Company before retiring and had previously worked for Corinthian Manufacturing. She was a member of the Boot-N-Shoe Workers Union AFL-CIO and the Living Word Fellowship Church in Savannah, Tennessee. Bonnie loved flowers, gardening, fishing, camping, family gatherings, and attending church. Most of all she loved playing and spending time with her "grand" son, Ian.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jimmy W. Goodman of Savannah, Tennessee; her daughter, Amber L. Goodman of Savannah, Tennessee; stepdaughter, Susan R. Marion of Corinth, Mississippi; mother, Betty L. Davis Saxton; grandson, Ian Conner Marion; sister, JoAnn Douthit, Mary Elizabeth Guyton, Lou Dean Wilkerson, and Connie M. Gray and husband, Jessie all of Savannah, Tennessee, and Karen L. Messenbrink of Del City, Oklahoma; and brother, James H. Davis of Savannah, Tennessee. Bonnie was also survived by many nieces and nephews; and Cash Johnson, Cruz Johnson, Christian Arnold, and Cierra Arnold, whom she thought of as her own grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Jane Frazier and her brother, George W. Davis.
