Bonnie Hatch Cross, 93 of Bolivar, died Tuesday, October 7 at McNairy Regional Hospital.She was born June 22, 1915 to the late Tom and Pearl Hodge Hatch in Chester County. In 1935, she married Isaac M. Cross, who preceded her in death July 30, 1994. She worked for over 20 years as a psychiatric supervisor at Western Mental Health Institute and owned Cross Grocery in Bolivar for years. She loved cooking, gardening, quilting, fishing and Atlanta Braves baseball. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bolivar, where she sang in the choir.Survivors are five daughters, Ann Cross Sammons of Sun City Center, FL, Joyce Kay and husband Bert of Cordova, Linda King and husband John of Selmer, Sandra Carroll and husband Gawaine of Bolivar, and Teresa Smith and husband Eddie of Brownsville; two sons, Bruce E. Cross of Bolivar, and Tommy Cross and wife Wanda of Collierville; a sister, Junell Hatch Voyles of Memphis; thirteen grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Michelle LaCroix and Chris Bolin and a host of brothers.
