Bonnie Alexander was born on March 29, 1936 in Savannah, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Isaac Earl and Martha Cummings Sharp.
On December 24, 1954, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Douglas Alexander, who preceded his wife in death on July 4, 2014.
Bonnie was a member of Adamsville First Baptist Church and taught a women's Sunday School class. She had a strong passion for Christ and helping others find Christ. Bonnie enjoyed crocheting, couponing, and canning, but most of all she loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.
Bonnie Alexander departed this life on October 21, 2024 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 88 years, 6 months, and 22 days.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Gonwa and her husband John of Palos Hills, Illinois; grandchildren, Lisa Sison (Arthur), Pamela Bartlett (Luke), Susan Youngquist (Eric), and John D. Gonwa (Nikki); and great grandchildren, Kailey Bartlett, Lynley Bartlett, Benjamin Bartlett, Sheliya Bartlett, Ethan Bartlett, Theodore Bartlett, Jovie Bartlett, Zemira Bartlett, Caleb Bartlett, Davina Bartlett, Erik Youngquist, Juliet Youngquist, Sean Youngquist, and Charlotte Sison.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Alexander; brother, Tommy Sharp; sister, Connie Davis; 6 great angel babies; and 1 great great angel baby.
