BONISE HALTOM
Henderson, TN: Minnie Bonise Smith Haltom age 87 passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at the Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born May 14, 1929 in Chester County, the daughter of the late Joseph Adam and Minnie Paralee Conder Smith. She graduated from Chester County High School in 1947 and married Albert Leland Haltom and they made their home in Chester County. She worked at Salant & Salant, Chester Mfg., Kap III, Sonoco and Jackson General Hospital until her retirement. Mr. Haltom died in 1997.
Mrs. Haltom is survived by three daughters, Pamela Bingham of Midlothian, VA, Kathy Haltom and Tammy Askew both of Henderson and two sons, Steve Haltom of Henderson and Jeff Haltom of Jackson, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leland Haltom in 1997, an infant son, David Haltom, three brothers, Joe Smith, Glenn Smith and Harold Smith and two sisters, Irene Small and Ruby Knapp.
Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Friday, October 14, 2016 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Dennis Seratt officiating and graveside at Hearn’s Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Friday.
