Bobby Whitten

Bobby Whitten was born February 3, 1946 in Selmer, TN, the son of the late Quinnie Lavern and Iuna Sparks Whitten. He departed this life on December 27, 2018 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 10 Months, 24 Days.

Bobby was united in marriage to Mary Evelyn McDaniel on September 21, 2007. He retired from Quebecor. He was the active Pastor of New Hope Baptist Church of Pocahontas, TN. He was a kind hearted person, willing to help anyone. The joy of Bobby's life was his family.

Mr. Whitten is survived by his wife, Mary Evelyn Whitten of Selmer, TN; his children: oldest daughter, Lori Perry and husband Jimmy of Selmer, TN, Sheila Morelli and husband Sam of Fort Myers, FL, Ricky Whitten and wife Brenda of MS; a sister, Joyce McCullar of Bethel Springs, TN; eight grandchildren: Dustin Hamm (Chantelle), Daniel Hamm (Molly), Emilee Perry, Amanda Frazier, Shaun Hornsby, Stephen Frost, Dustin Frost and Timothy Whitten; and several great grandchildren.
