BOBBY G. TACKER

 Henderson, TN: Bobby Gene Tacker age 82 passed away December 1, 2024, at his home.

He was born August 4, 1942, in McNairy County, Bethel Springs, the son of the late William Guy and Mary Gladys Hysmith Tacker and moved to Chicago at age eighteen and stayed there forty-five years.

He worked as a baker at Nabisco, (National Biscuit Company) for forty-five years.

Mr. Tacker is survived by his caregiver, Tammy Fesmire of Henderson; a sister, Betty Morris (Roy) of Henderson, several nieces and nephews and his dog, “Little Bit”.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Weronika Grandelick Tacker, a brother, William C. ‘Calvin’ Tacker and two sisters, Cassie Hunt and Frances Smith. 

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel. Burial will follow at Chester County Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at East Main 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday.
