Bobby Robinson was born July 16, 1953 in Selmer, TN the son of the late Ernest Hugh and Nelda Jean Foust Robinson.
He was united in marriage to Cathy Eaker on September 17, 1971.
Bobby was not just a carpenter, but a good one. He could build and fix anything, if it didn't fit or work, it did when he finished.
Bobby loved his family but most of all he loved his Cathy. They spent most of their life together, marrying at a young age. He was always ready for a good dance with his girl, especially "Last Date," their favorite song. He spent many hours teaching Michael how to build and fix things. Michael was his pride and joy. Bobby loved spending time with his granddaughter, Nikki along with her babies: Nevaeh, Jake and RJ who loved their Paw Paw. In his heart, he was also Paw Paw to Angie, Chelsea, Ashley, and Cassie - his special nieces, who loved him dearly. They always knew their Uncle Bobby loved them too.
Knowing Bobby as we all do, we would think that he is 'buildin' a house in Heaven' with a smile on his face and all his loved ones who have gone before him right there with him.
Mr. Robinson departed this life on December 10, 2021 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 68 Years, 4 Months, 24 Days. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cathy Robinson of Selmer, TN; a son, Michael Robinson of Selmer, TN; a granddaughter, Nikki Sappington and husband Billy of Morris Chapel, TN; great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Jacob and RJ; brother, Paul Robinson and wife Theresa of Selmer, TN; brother-in-law, Ricky Phillips of Selmer, TN; sister-in-law, Danita Sims and husband, Anthony of Stantonville, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by two sisters, Nelda Sue Phillips, Lisa Coulter and husband Bobby.
Memorial service will be rescheduled for a later date.
