Bobby Redmon was born September 17, 1954 in Selmer, TN the son of the late Franklin Delano and Billie Sue Murry Redmon.
He was united in marriage to Tracy Hopkins on August 6, 1977.
Bobby was a truck driver for over 30 years. In 1993, he left driving and took over managing R&R Truck Sales in Bethel Springs, Tennessee. He loved trucks, go-cart racing with his girls, motorcycles, horses, and corvettes. Due to his health, Bobby had to retire from working and driving. His blindness did not effect his sense of direction, or his need for a fast car. He was probably the only blind man to ever buy a '76 corvette just by touch and sound.
Bobby enjoyed making people laugh and always had a joke. His sense of humor never diminshed even as his health declined. Laughter was his medicine and he was happy to share. He was a member of Bethel Springs Presbyterian Church and had served as an elder. In most recent years, he attended Forty Forks Baptist church.
Bobby loved his family and friends. One of the greatest joys has been his granddaughter, Darby. She has been his ray of sunshine for the past fifteen years. Most recently, he gained four grandchildren and loved them dearly.
