Bobby G. Pace

Bobby G. Pace was born March 14, 1930 in Rogers Springs, TN the son of the late Rufus Cion and Effie Ola Durham Pace.

He was united in marriage to Clara Phelps on August 9, 1958. Mrs. Pace preceded him in death on February 28, 2011, following 52 years of marriage. To this union four children were born: Ricky Lee, Bobby Joe, Mark Anthony, and Angela Lynn.

Mr. Pace was employed by Indian Head Manufacturing in Pine Grove, MS. He worked in the timber industry and also farmed. After leaving Indian Head in 1984 he was self-employed until his retirement in 1992. He enjoyed vegetable gardening and would sell his produce and fruit at local farmer's markets in the summertime. He was a loving son, husband, daddy, pappaw, and uncle.

Mr. Pace departed this life on September 29, 2022 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 6 Months, 15 Days. He leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Angela Cook and husband David and two grandsons, David Shane Cook and Cameron Robert Cook, all of Selmer, TN; six nieces: Patricia, Linda, Donna, Rita, Norma, and Rebecca; a special sister-in-law, Mary Pearl White; and a bonus niece, Carry Burns.

In addition to his loving wife and parents, Mr. Pace was preceded in death by three sons: Ricky Lee, Bobby Joe, and Mark Anthony; three brothers: Dalton, Cion, and Charles Earl; three sisters: Effie Lee Pace, Muriel Graves, and Mary Evelin Hopkins; a niece, Cathy; a nephew, Doug; and two brothers-in-law, Buddy and Larry.
