Bobby Newell

Bobby Newell was born April 18, 1934 in Adamsville, Tennessee the son of the late Burris N. and Alva Harris Newell.He was united in marriage to Mary Lou Spencer on May 16, 1953.Mr. Newell worked in the Central Office for CenturyTel phone company. He was a member of the Faith Pointe Church in Adamsville, TN. He loved gardening, a friend to everyone, he loved his kids and grandkids.Mr. Newell departed this life on June 8, 2010 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 1 Month, 21 Days. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Lou (Spencer) Newell of Adamsville, TN; a daughter, Vickie Brewer and husband Randall of Adamsville, TN; three sons, Jerry Newell and wife Diane of Selmer, TN, Steve Newell and wife Marty of Scotts Hill, TN, Kenny Newell and wife Sonia of Adamsville, TN; a brother, Roger Newell of Memphis, TN; six grandchildren, Megan Griffin, Kimberly Plunk, Nathaniel Newell, Nicholas Newell, Tiffany Flatt, Tabatha Henderson; three great grandchildren, Kinsley Plunk, A.J. Flatt, Eliza Flatt.In addition to his parents, Mr. Newell was preceded in death by two sisters, Shelby Poole, Ruby Dickey; a brother, Sonny Newell.
