Bobby Brent King, 63, of Stanton, died Friday, November 4, 2005 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East.



The husband of Barbara Howard King, who survives, he was a truck driver for Fisher Lime & Cement Company. Mr. King was born May 13, 1942 in Cloverport, son of the late Alvin Ambrose King and Adelia King-King. He lived in Memphis for over 20 years before making his home in Stanton and was a Christian.



Services were 1 pm Monday, November 7, 2005 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Artie Nute officiating. Burial was in Vernon Cemetery near Cloverport with Jimmy C. Brumbelow at the graveside.



In addition to his wife, whom he married March 18, 1988, he is survived by five daughters, Sharon White of Southaven, MS, Debra Welch and Peggy Sanchez, both of Memphis, Stephanie Barber of Coldwater, MS and Marie Daniels of St. Louis, MO; one son, James Fortune of Southaven, MS; one brother, Edward King of Bolivar; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Willie Fortune.
