Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Tilman Melton and Avalon Irene Kirves Melton; sisters, Denise Tate, Nancy Jackson, Kathy Barnett; brother, Roy Melton.
Private services were held. Burial at Moore's Schoolhouse Cemetery in Bethel Springs, Tennessee.
