He was born and reared in Chester County, Glendale Community, the son of the late Hubert Roy and Edna Palice Moore Hinson. He went to school in Chester County and graduated from Chester County High School in 1957. Then he went to Illinois where he started his brick laying apprenticeship and also joined the Illinois National Guard. He was
a brick mason for over 30 years, doing contract work in different places. He moved back to Henderson in 1963 and in 1965 married Ann Stack of Hardeman County. They made their home in the Glendale Community of Chester County. Bobby went to work for the Tennessee Division of Forestry in 1983 and worked there for over 17 years before retiring. After retiring he went to work for the Henderson Sanitation Department were he worked until October of 2008. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 485 of Henderson and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and working in his yard. He also enjoyed making things from wood by carving walking canes and other things.
