Bobby Joe Hill

Bobby Joe Hill was born May 24, 1934 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Jim and Olive Hill. He was united in marriage to Patricia Parker on June 12, 1954.Mr. Hill retired from the Army National Guard on May 24, 1994, with the rank of Platoon Sergeant E-7. He was the former owner of Hill's Petroleum Company, and was the chairman of the District One Democratic Committee. He formerly served as the Bethel Springs City Judge, and was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Bethel Springs.Mr. Hill departed this life on May 1, 2007 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 11 Months, 7 Days. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia Parker Hill of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; a son, Joey Anthony Hill; a sister, Marie Whitaker; and a brother, Roger Hill, all of Selmer, Tennessee.
