BOBBY HARVEY
Counce, TN: Mr. Bobby Wayne Harvey, age 80, passed away December 22, 2022, at his home.
He was born in Chester County, TN July 20, 1942, son of the late Walace and Anna Bell Adcock Harvey. He grew up in Chester County and was a graduate of Chester County High School.
He began working at Henry Horton State Park in Chapel Hill, TN as a lifeguard. He continued his career with the TN State Parks system moving to Edgar Evans State Park and then to Pickwick Landing State Park where he worked for over 40 years retiring as superintendent.
He enjoyed golfing and was a UT Vols fan.
He is survived by his daughter, Tonya Crouch (Ken) of Cookville, TN and close friends, Eddie Shaw, Guy Garner, and Greg and Susan Richardson all of Counce, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Nelson Harvey; and sister, Gloria Faye Ross.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday December 30, 2022, at Unity Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 1:30 PM until 2:00 PM service time Friday.
