Mr. Bobby Gene Leathers, age 66 of Bolivar, passed away Monday morning, September 5, 2016, at Bolivar General Hospital.
Bobby Gene Leathers was born Monday, February 27, 1950 to Robert Johnson Leathers and Agatha Genell Hill in Hardeman County, TN. He was a graduate of Bolivar Central High School with the class of 1968. He was very mechanically intelligent and enjoyed repairing motors. He lived in Oakland and Hornsby, TN until he moved back to Bolivar about five years ago.
He is survived by two sisters Elanor G. Hartsfield(Emmett) of Covington, TN, and Mildred Marie Gafford of Smyrna, TN; two brothers, John Robert Leathers of Medon, TN, and Charles R. Leathers of Medon, TN; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Johnson Leathers and Agatha Genell Hill.
