BOBBY DURBIN
Enville, TN: Bobby Mack Durbin age 82 passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at McNairy County Health Care Center.
He was born April 19, 1934 at Shiloh, TN and grew up at Michie, the son of the late Jesse Levi and Annie Sue Campbell Durbin. He went to school at Michie. He married Gail Colbert in 1952 and they made their home at Enville. He had been a truck driver for most of his working career, having driven for Maness Brothers Trucking, Legions in Corinth, Wilbur Campbell Backhoe Service and Aqua Glass at Adamsville, retiring in 2008. Mr. Durbin was a member of the Enville Church of Christ.
Mr. Durbin is survived by his wife, Frances Gail Colbert Durbin of Enville; a son, Kendall Clark Durbin of Enville; four daughters, Brenda Essary (Ricky) of Milledgeville, Rhonda Pickens (Ricky) of Morris Chapel, Connie Neisler-Hearn (Terry) of Henderson and Scarlett Henley (Scott) of Selmer; 10 grandchildren, Brandy Cherry (Jason), Crystal Hunt (Brandon), Kevin Essary (Megan), Heather Bartholomew (Doug), Beth Ann Durbin, K.C. Durbin (Adrian), Thetus Neisler (Brittany), Kimberly Neisler, Payton Henley Watkins (Davis) and Camron Henley and nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Freddie Durbin of Corinth and Jerry Durbin of Dunlap and one sister, Eleanor Smith of Michie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandchild, Alan Pickens in 2006, a great grandchild, Billy Drew Bartholomew, a son-in-law, Patrick Neisler in 2014, a brother, Jesse Durbin, Jr. and a sister, Mildred Holt.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Eddie Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery at Enville.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel beginning at 5:00 PM Friday.
