Bobby Davidson was born on October 11, 1935 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late John Walker and Berta Marie McCasland Davidson.
On February 11, 2005, he was united in marriage to June Pipes Davidson, who survives.
Bobby honorably served his country in the United States Army National Guard. He was employed at National Vendors in St. Louis, Missouri for 30 years where he worked as a supervisor and also worked for East-West Trucking in Selmer, Tennessee for 13 years. Bobby was a fan of St, Louis Cardinals baseball and Tennessee Volunteers football and basketball. He enjoyed fishing and traveling. Bobby was also a great singer and loved to sing with his brother, Roy. Mr. Davidson was a member of Savannah Church of Christ in Savannah, Tennessee.
Bobby Davidson departed this life on September 28, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 86 years, 11 months, and 17 days.
He is survived by his wife, June Davidson of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Robert Melvin Davidson and his wife Delores of Hillsboro, Missouri, Jeffrey Davidson of Clifton, Tennessee, and James Davidson of Dickson, Tennessee; brother, Roy Estes Davidson of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Betty Joyce Reeves of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, Norma Stricklin of Collierville, Tennessee, and Helen Hickox and her husband Lee of Cairo, Mississippi; grandchildren, James Robert Davidson, Alexander Cody Davidson, John Walker Davidson III, and Donald Wayne Davidson Jr.; and great grandchild, Jasime Davidson.
In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherrie Davidson; son, Donald Davidson; sister, Elnora Creekpaun; and brothers, J.W. Davidson and Andy Loyd Davidson.
