Bobby Burgess

Bobby Burgesswas born in Houlka, Mississippi on December 20, 1938 the son of the late Ray Augusta and Elsie Ann Cornelia Nolan Burgess.On June 29, 1963 he was united in marriage to June Sandusky, who preceded him in death on May 10, 2009.Mr. Burgess was a Warehouse Manager for Murray Guard and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Shriner's. He was also a member of the First Assembly of God Church and the Seventh Day Adventist Church both in Savannah, Tennessee. Mr. Burgess departed this life on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the age of 71 years, 6 months, 17 days.He is survived by 3 brothers, Don Burgess and wife Sue of Scottsboro, Alabama, Dwight Burgess and wife Betty, Jerry Burgess all of Memphis, Tennessee; a sister, Judy Milam of Memphis, Tennessee; a brother-in-law, Fred Sandusky of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; a sister-in-law, Teresa Morris and husband Rex of Savannah, Tennessee.In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Burgess.
