Bobbie Jean White Thompson was born in August 25, 1936, in Hardin County, Tennessee to the late Robert and Rose Thornton White. She entered into eternal life on October 9, 2013, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.
Bobbie Jean was united in Holy Matrimony to Billy Thompson on December 27, 1953. He preceded her in death on October 26, 1973. She was a member of Love Tabernacle Church of God & Christ , Savannah, Tennessee.
Bobbie Jean was an environmental tech for Pickwick Inn for many years, she had also worked at Garan Inc. for many years as well. She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, fishing, small game hunting, cooking, sewing, and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Bobbie Jean is survived by two sons, Lamond Hottiman (Melissa) and Keevin Thompson of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Diane Thompson; seven grandchildren, Dirish Hottiman, Carlos Thompson, Starla Deshazier, Keevin Lloyd, Evelyn Thompson, Rahkeev Thompson, and Alexia Thompson. She also raised Edgar Broyles as a grandchild; six great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Martha Hawkins; one brother-in-law, Thomas Irvin, Jr., and one aunt, Wilma Bumpus.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bobbie Jean was preceded in death by one son, Billy Brenard Thompson; one brother, Henderson Hawkins, Sr.; one sister, Ethel Mae Irvin, and one half sister, Agatha White Irvin.
