Bobbie Jean Jones Smith

Bobbie Jean Jones Smith of Collinwood, TN was born June 17, 1952 in Hohenwald, TN, the daughter of the late J. P. and Mary Ellen Scott Jones. She was united in marriage to Ralph M. Smith on July 18, 1968.

Mrs. Smith had worked as a seamstress and was a member of the Shawnettee Methodist Church in Collinwood, Tennessee.

Mrs. Smith departed this life on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at E. C. M. Hospital in Florence, Alabama at the age of 64 Years, 19 Days.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph M. Smith of Collinwood, TN; a son, Danny Smith and wife, Lorie of Muscle Shoals, AL; a daughter, Gwendolyn (Wendy) Harbin and husband ,Scotty of Rogersville, AL; grandchildren, Cole Harbin, Will Smith, Carson Harbin, Gavin Decker and Layla Smith; brothers, Johnny Smith of Collinwood, TN, James Jones of Waynesboro, TN.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Jones, Billy J. Jones and; sisters, Joyce Phillips, Louise May Youngblood, Christine Chamberlain, Emma Thrasher, Eva June Gabrial.

Services will be Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood with John Ives officiating. Burial will follow in the Shawnettee Memory Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Will Smith Carson Harbin, Austin Perry, Stephen Swafford, Jerry Thrasher, Terrance Smith and Darren Smith.

Visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2016 from 5 pm to 9 pm and Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 11 am until service time at the funeral home.
