Bobbie Ann Young Mitchell Latta

In loving memory of Bobbie Ann Young Mitchell Latta, a remarkable lady whose life was filled with dedication, compassion, and adventure.

Bobbie Ann Young Mitchell Latta made her entrance into this world on June 19, 1936 in McNairy County, Tennessee. She was the cherished daughter of Ova and Eula Patterson Young, who instilled in her the values of love, kindness, and resilience that she carried throughout her life.

She concluded her career at Selmer Bank & Trust as a dedicated bookkeeper. Her commitment to excellence and meticulous attention to detail were admired by all who worked alongside her.

While Bobbie Ann found fulfillment in her professional pursuits, it was her passions outside of work that truly defined her vibrant spirit. An avid tennis player, she found great joy in every match, embracing the sport's challenges with enthusiasm and grace. Bobbie Ann had a deep connection with animals and poured her love into their care.

A shining testament to her compassionate heart was Bobbie Ann's dedication to making a difference in the lives of children. She selflessly opened her home to foster children whom she loved unconditionally as if they were her own. In addition to fostering, Bobbie Ann warmly welcomed numerous foreign exchange students into her household, providing them with love and support during their time away from home.

Bobbie Ann's unwavering faith guided every aspect of her life. As a valued member of Eastside Church of Christ, she found solace and strength within the congregation.

On October 14, 2023, Bobbie Ann peacefully passed away in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 87 years, 3 months, and 25 days. She leaves behind a legacy of love and impact that will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched.
