BOB (DUCKY) MILENDER
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 7, 1934 the son of the late Carl Emerson and Delphia Mae James Milender.
On October 13, 1951 he was united in marriage to the former Mildred Jean Massey, who survives.
Mr. Milender was a retired power construction worker for Tennessee Valley Authority. He was a member of IBEW Local 852 and a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. Mr. Milender enjoyed fishing, cooking, sight seeing, traveling, meeting people and enjoyed sitting on his porch swing. He loved his family very much.
Mr. Milender departed this life on June 17, 2008 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 74 years, 1 month and 10 days.
Other than his wife, Jean of Counce, Tennessee, he is survived by 2 daughters, Peggy Johnson and her husband Johnny of Counce, Tennessee and Lisa Childers and her husband Richard of Counce, Tennessee.
one son, Randy Milender and his wife Penny of Counce, Tennessee.
6 grandchildren, Jennifer Williams, Brad Childers, Joey Johnson, Lindsey Childers, Josh Milender and Jessica Moore
3 great-grandchildren, Whitney Williams, Weston Williams and Chloe Johnson
2 sisters, Mollie Monday of Counce, Tennessee and Jessie Ruth Byrd of Detroit, Michigan
2 brothers, James Milender of Del Rio, Texas and David Milender of Littleville, Alabama.
Mr. Milender was also precede in death by one son, Bobby Gerald Milender, 1 sister, Polly Milender and 3 brothers, Carl Edward, Johnny and Robert Earl Milender.
