BLONNIE NELL YOUNG
was born in Iuka, Mississippi on November 12, 1936 the daughter of the late William (Buddy) and Bertha Annie Moore Jones.
On October 26, 1957 she was united in marriage to Ernest Young, who survives.
Blonnie worked at Savannah Manufacturing as a seamstress. She was a member of Graham United Methodist Church, where she was very active . Blonnie volunteered at the hospital and for the Christian Assistance Ministries. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, ceramics and cooking. Everything in her life revolved around her family.
Blonnie departed this life on December 27, 2012 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, 1 month and 15 days.
In addition to her husband, Ernest of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by her children, Sheila Young Mills of Paris, Tennessee, Sherry Young Stricklin, Connie Young Hurt and Donnie Darryl Young, all of Savannah, Tennessee
11 grandchildren, Kerry Ryan Mills, Amy Rose Hasselbrink, Amanda Nell Stanfill, Justin Owen Stricklin, Micah Blake Hurt, Christina Carol Hurt, Elizabeth Ann Hurt, William Daniel Hurt, Jason Darryl Young, Jessica Dawn Cook and Jordan Ray Young
