Blan J. Hensley

Blan J. McCalister Hensley was born September 29, 1918 in Alcorn County, Mississippi the daughter of the late Herman and Fannie Nelmas McCalister.On March 10, 1939, she was united in marriage to Mike Hensley who preceded her in death on April 10, 1999.Mrs. Hensley was a homemaker and a member of the Butler's Chapel Baptist Church.Mrs. Hensley departed this life on June 15, 2010 in Ramer, Tennessee at the age of 91 Years, 8 Months, 17 Days. She is survived by three daughters, Annie Ruth Smith of Ramer, TN, Neoma Pearson and Lavonne Monroe both of Selmer, TN; two sons, Hershel Hensley and Russell Hensley both of Ramer, TN; two sisters, Kate Dickerson and Vancie Dickerson both of Corinth, MS; 11 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hensley was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Bell Gray and Nelda Sue Moss; and two brothers, J. B. McCalister and O. C. McCalister.
