Billy Wade Thompson departed this life on Monday, November 1, 2016 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, TN. at the age of 51 Years, 5 Months, 28 Days. He was born May 4, 1965 in Lawrenceburg, TN.

Billy was a retired truck driver and a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church in Gayland, Texas.

Billy was preceded in death by mother, Dorothy Nell Gambrell Thompson, sister, Patricia Thompson, grandparents, Talmage and Ila Thompson, Eldred and Lonabell Gambrell, nephew, Bo Thompson.

He is survived by daughters, Britnee Lynn Thompson of Waynesboro, TN, Brooke Darlene Thompson of Chattanooga, TN, father and step mother,
Willie Ray and Wanda Thompson, Collinwood, TN, brothers, Norman Thompson and wife Susan of Ethridge, TN, Terry Thompson and wife Teresa of Waynesboro, TN, Justin Thompson and wife Candice and Jeremy Thompson and wife Sara all of Collinwood, TN, fiance Sheila Nelson of Lexington, AL.

Services will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton and John Hodum, officiating. Burial will follow in Butler Grove Cemetery , Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 3, 5:00-9:00 pm and on Friday, November 4, 9:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, TN.
