Billy Dan Thomas

Billy Dan Thomas was born in Selmer, Tennessee, March 25, 1934, the son of LaFayette and Willie Mae Chambers Thomas. On December 18, 1954, he was united in marriage to the former Sara Bromley, who survives.
Mr. Thomas was a member of the Bethany Christian Center and served in the Tennessee National Guard for nine years.
He departed this life at his home in the West Hardin Community on August 13, 2005 at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 19 days.
Other than his wife, he is survived by three sons, Kevin Thomas of Cordova, Tennessee, Stacy Thomas of Charlotte, North Carolina and Patrick Thomas of Savannah, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Chase, Cydney, Megan, Natalie, Cameron and Gavin; two brothers, Jimmy Thomas and Joe Thomas, both of Selmer, Tennessee and two sisters, Mary Sue Smith of West Memphis, Arkansas and Joyce Tanner of Stantonville, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carolyn McFall.
