Billy F. Smith

Billy F. Smithwas born in Tyronza, Arkansas on December 3, 1934 the son of the late Fremont and Annie Pearl Wright Smith.On October 10, 1953 he was united in marriage to the former Betty Jo Highland, who survives. Mr. Smith retired from Clayton Homes where he worked as a cabinet builder. He lived in the Walnut Grove Community and was a member of Carmel Heights Baptist Church. He departed this life on April 25, 2007 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 72 years, 4 months and 22 days.Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Betty Smith of Savannah, Tennessee;three sons: Steve Smith of Edwardsburge, Michigan, Michael Franklin Smith and Brian Keith Smith, both of Savannah, Tennessee; one daughter, Cheryl Ann Dennis of Newnan, Georgia;nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren;one brother, Charles Smith of Mountain Homes, Arkansasand two sisters: Goldie Smith of St. Charles, Illinois and Betty Lou Smith of Chicago, Illinois.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son;two brothers: Ernest Lee Smith and Clerene Wright andthree sisters: Irene Haley, Beatrice Landrom and Pearlene Tigg.
