BILLY H. ROGERS, SR.
was born in Kossuth, Mississippi on October 6, 1937 the son of the late George H. and Lila Mae Follin Rogers.
On June 3, 1967 he was united in marriage to Judith Jerrolds, who survives.
Mr. Rogers worked for 25 years for the Memphis Police Department and worked for 15 years for Fed-Ex. Mr. Rogers was a member of the Memphis Police Association. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Rogers departed this life on April 22, 2015 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 77 years, 6 months and 16 days.
In addition to his wife Judy of 47 years, he is survived by one son, Billy H. Rogers, Jr. of Birmingham, Alabama; his sister, Ruth Leird of Florence, Alabama and his twin sister, Betty Rogers Smith of Ripley, Mississippi; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, I'Lav Rogers Duncan.
