Billy Darrell Rinks

Billy Darrell Rinks, 66, of Bolivar, died Sunday evening, April 30, 2006 at NHC Healthcare in Somerville.
The husband of Mary Nell Rinks, who survives, he was a farmer for Sky Top Farms and had retired from Hardeman County Farmers Co-op. He was born June 27, 1939 in Bells, son of W. T. Rinks of Bolivar and the late Callie Lucille Davis Rinks. He made his home in Hardeman County in 1956. Mr. Rinks was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Fayette County and was an avid deer hunter and fisherman.
Services were 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at Shackelford’s Bolivar chapel with Don Hammons officiating. Burial was in Mt. Gilead Cemetery near Bethel Springs.
In addition to his wife, whom he married October 16, 1960, and his father, survivors include three daughters, Sue Lynn Griffin and Carol McKinnon, both of Bolivar and Mary Jo “BoBo†Rush of Medina; four sisters, Hilda Butler of Bartlett, Nancy Weems, Marilyn Wood and Sandy Keith, all of Bolivar and four grandchildren, Suzanne Griffin, Matthew and Ellen McKinnon, all of Bolivar and Mallory Rush of Medina.
