Billy Hugh Ray

Billy Hugh Ray was born September 26, 1928 in Hardeman County, Tennessee the son of the late Arlie and Martha Arizona Henson Ray.He was united in marriage to Ina Jewell Jernigan Ray who preceded him in death. He was also united in marriage to Evelyn Thacker Ray who preceded him in death on February 11, 1994. Mr. Ray was a carpenter and a mechanic. He attended Thomas Chapel Church in Guys, Tennessee.He departed this life on July 2, 2007 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 9 Months, 6 Days. Mr. Ray is survived by two daughters, Freda Weatherly and husband Charles of Bethel Springs, Tennessee and Sandra Kay Bruner and husband Jack of Selmer, Tennessee; three sons, David Hugh Ray and wife Anita of Horn Lake, Mississippi, Richard Lynn Ray and wife Nancy of Pikeville, Tennessee and Dennis Lee Ray and wife Molly of Jackson, Tennessee; two sisters, Alice Likes of Selmer, Tennessee and Linda Gail Hurst of Horn Lake, Mississippi; one brother, Oneal Ray of Ramer, Tennessee; 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.Mr. Ray was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Mason Ray and Joe Ray.
