Billy Joe Parrott was born February 8, 1947, in McNairy County, Tennessee, the son of the late Oliver and Minnie Mae Killingsworth Parrot. He was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Hamm on March 31, 1969.
Mr. Parrott, at one time, was employed by the McNairy County Highway Department and later worked in maintenance for the McNairy County Board of Education.
Mr. Parrott departed this life August 9, 2014, at the Hardin County Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 67 years, 6 months and 1 day.
He is survived by a son, Bobby Wayne Parrott of Adamsville, Tennessee,
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Exie D. Parrott, Mary Phillips and William Thomas Parrott.
