Billy Parrish

Billy Parrish



was born on December 2, 1934 in Waterloo, Alabama the son of the late Luther Pope and Mamie Terry Parrish.



On June 4, 1959, he was united in marriage to the former Mary Katherine Adams, who preceded him in death on August 12, 1999.



Mr. Parrish was a retired dockworker for B.J. Interstate Cartage and lived in Chicago, Illinois from 1951 until 1994.



He departed this life on December 28, 2005 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah at the age of 71 years and 26 days.



Mr. Parrish is survived by

a son, Billy DeWayne Parrish of Washington Court House, Ohio;

a daughter, Katrina Faye Parrish of Savannah, Tennessee;



5 grandchildren: Kaylee Parrish, Brittany Parrish, Jacob Parrish,

Ashton Parrish and Tabitha Pickett;



3 sisters: Louise Pickens, Earline Cummings,

and Elizabeth Cotner, all of Savannah, Tenessee;



and one brother, Terry Parrish of Savannah, Tennessee.



In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, J.W. Parrish and one sister, Beadie Adams.
