Funeral services for Billy Wade Holt, age 55, of Collinwood, TN will be 3:00 pm Monday, January 28, 2008 at Cromwell Crossroads Baptist Church in Collinwood with Josh Stults and Greg Eaton officiating. Interment will follow in Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge.
Visitation will begin 5:00 pm Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Cromwell Crossroads Church.
Mr. Holt, a native of Wayne County, died Friday, January 25, 2008 at his home. He is a son of Pearl L. Newborn Holt of Waynesboro and the late Charlie Houston Holt. Mr. Holt was preceded in death by a brother, Glen Holt, and sisters, Faye Bratcher and Avis Mazell Newborn. He was a retired welder at Murray Ohio in Lawrenceburg, TN.
Survivors other than his mother include sisters, Alice Holt of Cypress Inn, TN and Mary Lou Sherrill of Collinwood, TN; brothers, Charlie J. Holt, Bobby Holt, and Johnnie Holt all of Collinwood, TN; several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews
