Billy W. Herod

Billy W. Herod was born April 5, 1941 in New Albany, Mississippi the son of the late L. G. and Opaline Weeks Herod.Mr. Herod was a retired house mover and was a member of the Middleton First Pentecostal Church. He was also a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Herod departed this life on March 21, 2006 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 11 Months, 16 Days. He is survived by a daughter, Deneathia Ford of Bolivar, Tennessee; a son, Dana Moody of Medon, Tennessee; two sisters: Jimmie Freeman of Ramer, Tennessee and Judy Vincent of Bolivar, Tennessee; a brother, John L. Herod of Ramer, Tennessee; three granddaughters: Dajuanna Moody, Stacy Moody and Deanna Fitzgerald; a grandson, Dajuan Moody; two great-granddaughters: Kitana Tucker and Rachel Fitzgerald; and his faithful dog, Suzie. In addition to his parents, Mr. Herod was also preceded in death by a son, Billy Duane Herod; a sister, Joe Ann Flake; and his maternal grandmother, Ora Weeks.
