Billy Godwin

Billy Godwinwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on September 7, 1942 the son of William Duel Godwin and the late Ruby Belle Godwin.On February 8, 1964 he was united in marriage to Georgia Bain, who survives.Mr. Godwin worked for Phillip's Brick and Tile as a brick mason. In the past he had worked for Bassell USA and Owens Corning Fiberglass. He was a member of the Morris Chapel Baptist Church. Mr. Godwin liked to bird hunt, rabbit hunt, and fish.Mr. Godwin departed this life on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at the age of 66 years, 4 months, 15 days.In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Godwin is survived by 3 daughters, Shelia Wrzesniewski of Adamsville, Tennessee, Jeanette Plunk of Crump, Tennessee, and Annette Meeks of Stantonville, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren, Whitney Wrzesniewski, Trae Wrzesniewski, Dalton Plunk, Annie Meeks, and Cody Meeks; stepmother, Thelma Godwin of Adamsville, Tennessee.
