Billy Joe Gilliland

Billy Joe (Bill) Gilliland Jr. was born June 15, 1953 in Gary, Indiana the son of Peggy Smith and the late Billy Joe Gilliland Sr.Mr. Gilliland was a Bail Bondsman. He was a Past President of the Fraternal Order of Police, and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose - Selmer Moose Lodge.He departed this life on May 30, 2006 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 52 Years, 11 Months, 15 Days. Mr. Gilliland is survived by his mother, Peggy Smith of Selmer, Tennessee; daugther, Brynn Gilliland of Selmer, Tennessee; sister, Teresia Walk of Covington, Tennessee; two brothers, Steve Gilliland of Justice, Illinois, Jerry Curtis Gilliland of Plainfield, Illinois; stepsister, Debbie Jo Wilson of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; stepbrother, Tony Inman of Homer, Illinois, grandaughter, Madison Walker of Selmer, Tennessee, as well as a host of nieces and nephews who loved him very much.Other than his father, Mr. Gilliland was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bill Inman.
