Billy D. Frye

Billy D. Frye of Finger, Tennessee was born on January 31, 1932 in Mercer, TN the son of the late Jacob L. Frye and Gracie Wilson Frye Newell. Mr. Frye departed this life on January 30, 2012 at his home at the age of 79 Years, 11 Months, 30 Days. He was united in marriage to Ivy Jewell Miller, who survives.Mr. Frye was a member of the Bethel Springs, TN Church of Christ. He was retired from the Uniroyal Tire Company.He is survived by his wife Ivy Jewell Frye of Finger, TN; a son, Steven Frye and wife Dottie of Searcy, AR; a sister, Linda Dunaway of Jackson, TN; two grandsons, Andrew Frye, Matthew Frye. A host of extended family and friends.Other than his parents, Mr. Frye was also preceded in death by his fraternal twin sister Betty Kirk, along with sisters Arlene Colston, Shirley Collins, and Joyce Lott. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Louis Frye, Felton Frye, Tillman Frye, R. C. Frye, and Leonard Frye.
