Billy Buttram

Billy Buttram, Sr.was born in Lauderdale County, Tennessee on February 13, 1936 the son the late William Riley and Hilda Vaughn Buttram.Mr. Buttram had lived in California, Chicago, Illinois, Halls, Tennessee, and Savannah, Tennessee. He had worked for TVA and was also self-employed as a carpenter. He was a member of the Lauderdale Baptist Church and was an Army Veteran. He enjoyed woodworking and arrowhead hunting. Mr. Buttram departed this life on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at he age of 72 years, 5 months, 14 days.Mr. Buttram is survived by a daughter: Malinda Fitts and her husband Rev. James of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 sons: Ricky Buttram and his wife Samantha, Billy Buttram, Jr. and his wife Kristen all of Savannah, Tennessee: 1 sister: Arlie Colvert of Halls, Tennessee; 1 brother: Bobby Buttram, Sr. of Munford, Tennessee; 8 grandchildren: Latisha Bright, Joseph Fitts, Tonya Buttram, Ricky Buttram, Jr., Tiffany Buttram, Brittany Buttram, Tyler Buttram, and Zachary Buttram; 5 great-grandchildren: Ray Bright, Scarlett Bright, Quinlan Buttram, Harrison Buttram, Bryson Fitts.In addition to his parents, Mr. Buttram was preceded in death by a sister: Cleatus Noland.
