Billy Wayne Burns

Mr. Billy Wayne Burns was born July 4, 1957 in Hohenwald , TN to the union of the late Billy Gene and Edith Mae Walker Burns. Mr. Burns was a Pattern Maker at Clifton Manufacturing for 25 years and a member of the Eagle Creek Community. He was united in marriage to Kay Pope on July 2, 1976. Mr. Burns departed this life on Sunday October 20, 2019 in Waynesboro, Tennessee making his stay in this life some 62 Years, 3 Months and 16 Days.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years Kay Pope Burns of Waynesboro, TN; two sons, Matt Burns of Waynesboro, TN, Chris Burns of Linden, TN; a daughter, Jennifer Henderson and husband Jerroll of Waynesboro, TN; a brother, Dennis Burns of Waynesboro, TN; two grandchildren, Dylan Henderson, Alanie Henderson; two step-grandchlidren Dustin Henderson and Allison Owen.
Mr. Burns was preceded in death by his parents Billy Gene and Edith Mae Walker Burns and a brother, Ricky Sandusky.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 22, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday October 23, 2019 from 8:00 am until service time at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, TN.
Services will be held on October 23, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, TN with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery on Eagle Creek in Waynesboro, TN.
