BILLY BROOKS
Was born in Grace, Mississippi on January 19, 1940 the son of the late John Hollis and Mandy Elizabeth Coleman Brooks.
On April 26, 2003, he was united in marriage to the former Carol Henderson, who survives.
Mr. Brooks was a pipe fitter and a welder. He was Assistant Pastor for River of Life Church and every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM he ministered at Savannah Healthcare. Mr. Brooks was a United States Army Veteran.
He departed this life on January 27, 2006 at the Woodland Medical Center in Cullman, Alabama at the age of 66 years and 8 days.
Other than his wife, Carol of Shiloh, Tennessee, he is survived by one daughter, Angela Clark of Mississippi.
2 sons, Billy Gene Brooks of Mississippi and Howard Brooks of Cleveland, Mississippi.
One step-daughter, Cindy Collins of Savannah, Tennessee
2 step-sons, Edward Stamp of Adamsville, Tennessee and Jason Stamp of Savannah, Tennessee.
4 grandchildren and 9 step-grandchildren
2 sisters, Sarah East and Peggy Cousins, both of Vicksburg, Mississippi
One brother, Herman Brooks of Corinth, Mississippi.
Mr. Brooks was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Jody, Lorraine and Charles Brooks and 3 sisters, Bessy Uzzle, Erline Brant and Marie LeBlanc.
