Mrs. Billie Sue Horton Sanders departed this life on Monday, May 25, 2009 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 8 Months, 22 Days. She was born September 3, 1933 in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Bill and Leona Barnett Horton. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by her husband; Loyd Sanders.



Mrs. Sanders was a homemaker and babyset children in her home and was a member of Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.



She is survived by; sons, Cullen Sanders , Doug Sanders and wife, Betina , Tim Sanders and wife, Lisa all of Waynesboro, TN; two daughters, Karen Sue Sanders Cannon and husband, Steve of Murfreesboro, TN, Billie Carol Sanders Lynn and husband, Stacy of Nashville, TN; grandchildren; Crissy Mace, Justin Sanders, Garrett Sanders, Wesley Sanders, Ethan Lynn, Jacob Sanders, Corbin Lynn, Riley Sanders, Chloe Lynn, and Maggie Lynn; great- grandchildren; Alex and Lucas Mace; brother, Jerry Horton of Rush, NY; sisters, Jewel Sanders, LeFan Cole, and Dean Donovan all of Waynesboro, TN, Paulette Smith of Murfreesboro, TN; nieces and nephews.



Services will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Cal Hampton and Larry Janes officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 from 5 pm to 9 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro and Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 10 am to service time at Green River Baptist Church.
