Henderson, TN: Billie Jean Ezekiel Pickett age 80 passed away February 11, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born March 24, 1935 in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Brodie Andrew Ezekiel and Lannie Bell Mosier Ezekiel (Jean) Farley. She attended schools in McNairy County and in 1953 married E.W. (Ernest Wilson) Pickett. They made their home in Selmer and moved to Chester County in 1960. E.W. died in 2011. She had made her home in Henderson with her children and loved taking care of her grandchildren. She was Baptist in belief.
Mrs. Pickett is survived by a son, Gene Allen Pickett of Henderson; four daughters, Brenda Pickett, Midge Petty, Tammy Jones and Lesa Jones all of Henderson; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Butch Farley and Tony Farley both of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Mickey Farley, Joe Neal Farley and Tommy Farley.
Funeral services will be 5:00 PM Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Ken Kitchen and Ken Frye officiating.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel beginning at 3:00 PM Saturday until service time at 5:00 PM Saturday.
